RoC Skincare has released the results of its 2016 RoC Wrinkle Ranking, its third annual city-by-city ranking of the areas most at risk for skin damage and premature aging by the year 2040.
According to the ranking, by 2040 Philadelphia will be the most wrinkle-prone city in America, due to high stress levels, more airborne pollution, lengthy commute times, and higher than average smoking rates. On the other hand, San Jose, Calif, will be the least wrinkle-prone by 2040, due to its shorter commute time, smaller population size, and anticipated shift toward a wetter climate, per a media release from RoC Skincare.
RoC Skincare, along with independent research firm Sperlingโs Best Places, performed a meta-analysis in which they derived โper capitaโ figures for each metropolitan area based on its current population, and by comparing data, came up with an overall โwrinkle indexโ score that was used to rank the areas.
