Silagen has renamed its Acne Scar + Spot Corrector to Silagen Reveal to reflect the product’s broader use in addressing redness, hyperpigmentation, uneven texture, skin tone concerns, and post-procedure recovery across all Fitzpatrick skin types.
Silagen announced the rebranding of its Acne Scar + Spot Corrector to Silagen Reveal. The company said the updated name reflects the product’s broader clinical applications beyond acne scarring, including support for redness, hyperpigmentation, uneven texture, and post-procedure recovery across all Fitzpatrick skin types.
Formulation Remains the Same
According to Silagen, the formulation itself has not changed. Silagen Reveal continues to use the same clinically backed ingredient blend designed to improve the appearance of texture, redness, post-acne marks, post-procedure skin, and uneven tone.
The company said the product is intended for both in-office recommendation and at-home use.
Rebrand Reflects Broader Clinical Use
Silagen said the product was originally positioned for acne scarring but gained wider adoption among dermatology and aesthetic providers for additional skin concerns, including hyperpigmentation, redness, and uneven texture.
“Silagen Reveal more accurately represents what this product truly does,” said Kurt Schwarz, VP of Sales at Newmedical Technology, Inc. “After feedback from clinicians and the results seen in the published clinical study done by Bruce Katz, MD, it became obvious that this isn’t just an acne scar solution. It is a multi-functional treatment that helps patients reveal healthier, more radiant skin. The new name aligns with how providers are already using and recommending the product in practice.”
Broader Skin Benefits Highlighted
According to Silagen, key benefits associated with Silagen Reveal include reducing the appearance of acne scars and post-procedure marks, improving redness and discoloration including PIH and PIE, enhancing overall skin texture and tone, and supporting use across diverse patient populations and all Fitzpatrick skin types.
The company said the product will continue to be supported through clinical education initiatives and integrated marketing programs tied to post-procedure care protocols and acne recovery systems.
Alignment With Company Evolution
Silagen said the rebrand also aligns with the company’s broader evolution following the integration of Derma Made. The company described the update as part of its effort to strengthen its position in treatment, recovery, and long-term skin support.
