Dr Andrew Jacono, a New York City-based plastic surgeon, has been gaining plenty of attention on Instagram for his life-altering facelifts, using a method he bills as the ‘deep plane facelift’.
So, what exactly is a ‘deep plane facelift’? And how does it differ from a regular facelift?
What Is A Deep Plane Facelift? Inside The Plastic Surgery Procedure

The deep plane facelift is a more advanced version of the traditional facelift. It focuses on the facial muscles and fat deposits located in the lower half of your face in addition to the soft tissue. By reaching this deep into your facial structure, a surgeon can repair damage to your facial muscles and relocate fat deposits. Repairing your muscles is important because they provide support for your soft tissue.
A facelift is a cosmetic procedure which has done by Plastic surgeon.
I would say the deep plane facelift is not a minimally invasive procedure. In this age of minimalism, lets at least be accurate. That would be like saying a phenol peel is a lunchtime procedure!
The textbook is excellent and the author is to be commended for his contribution to the field of Plastic Surgery.
