Progenitor Biologics, the manufacturer and distributor of the anti-aging skin care products DefenAge, celebrates growth, and an increase in jobs to the local economy. The COVID-19 pandemic has given skin the opportunity to breathe and consumers overwhelmingly embraced this time to foster new skin routines, says a company spokesperson. 

Soon after celebrating its five year anniversary, DefenAge had its biggest year yet, leading to timely local expansion during pandemic-related closings. DefenAge has moved to a new office space (increasing almost three times in size), opened a novel fulfillment center and brought customer service in-house, increasing full-time positions while adding additional seasonal employees locally in Carlsbad, Calif.
