The American Academy of Dermatology is calling for nominations for 2017 Annual Meeting Named Lectureships and Awards.
All named lectureship recipients will be awarded a $10,000 honorarium and present their lecture during the plenary session at the Academy’s 2017 Annual Meeting, which takes place March 3-7 in Orlando, Fla. The nomination deadline is January 15, 2016.
- Nominees for the Clarence S. Livingood, MD, Memorial Award and Lectureship should have expertise in a nonclinical area of dermatology, such as socioeconomic issues, ethics, organizational aspects, professionalism, etc.
- Marion B. Sulzberger, MD, Memorial Award and Lectureship nominees should be individuals who have made significant contributions to the understanding of clinical medicine via their research.
- Nominees for the Lila and Murray Gruber Memorial Cancer Research Award and Lectureship should be nationally or internationally recognized experts in the field of cancer research.
Additionally, all nominees should have excellent, proven speaking skills.
