The device features a mode allowing for the simultaneous application of 1927nm Thulium and 1550nm Erbium wavelengths to treat a range of skin conditions.

Rejuva Fresh has introduced the REVIVO Dual Summit 1927/1550 Fractional Laser System, a new energy-based device for skin resurfacing that combines fractional non-ablative Erbium and micro-ablative and non-ablative Thulium technologies.

The system is designed to diminish fine lines, wrinkles, scars, and pigmentation issues while improving overall skin tone and texture. A key feature is its SPECTRAL MIX mode, which allows practitioners to use both the 1927nm Thulium and 1550nm Erbium wavelengths at the same time, according to the company, noting that this differs from previous technologies that required separate treatments for each wavelength.

The device is suitable for all Fitzpatrick skin types I-VI and offers a variety of low-downtime treatment options. The 1550nm wavelength is intended for deeper skin repair to stimulate collagen, while the 1927nm wavelength targets superficial skin concerns. According to Rejuva Fresh, a typical treatment session lasts 15-20 minutes.

“REVIVO Dual Summit embodies the next evolution in our advanced laser technology, underscoring our dedication to developing important and extremely effective devices for both US and global markets,” says Polly Jacobs, founder and CEO of Rejuva Fresh, in a release.

System Technology and Applications

The REVIVO system operates at 30 watts of laser power and comes with five unique treatment heads, three laser output modes, and four pulse shape options. It also includes the companyโ€™s PULSE SHAPE CONTROL technology and an ergonomic roller handpiece designed to deliver a uniform treatment pattern.

The combination of wavelengths allows the system to address a multitude of skin issues. The superficial 1927nm wavelength targets pigmentation such as sun spots and age spots, while the deeper 1550nm wavelength targets post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and stimulates collagen to improve the appearance of acne scars.

“The REVIVO exemplifies our distinctive collaborations with leading global manufacturers, integrating advanced technology with Rejuva Fresh’s expert understanding of the specific needs of both providers and patients,” says Huapei Cai, president and general manager of Rejuva Fresh LLC Asia Pacific, in a release.

According to clinical esthetician Niki Wu, early user feedback has been positive. “With our unique SPECTRAL MIX mode, we can now mix micro-ablative and non-ablative modalities for extraordinary results, fast, on one efficient platform, and with less downtime than ever before,” says Wu in a release.
