The latest version features increased energy output, interchangeable spot sizes, and system upgrades aimed at enhancing multi-modal aesthetic treatments.

Rejuva Fresh has introduced the latest version of its Custom CORE 8D Multi-Platform Laser, incorporating a new design and several functional upgrades aimed at expanding treatment options and improving usability for aesthetic practitioners.

The Custom CORE 8D platform combines eight laser technologies—including IPL/BBL, diode, picosecond, nanosecond, and erbium lasers—into a single system. According to Rejuva Fresh, this configuration allows practitioners to perform more than 80 types of treatments on a range of skin types and conditions.

The system’s diode laser now includes 755nm, 808nm, and 1064nm wavelengths for hair removal and features an upgraded 1600W power output. The diode handpiece now comes with four interchangeable magnetic tips, allowing for more targeted treatment without needing to switch handles.

The IPL/BBL component also received an energy boost—now delivering up to three times the energy of traditional IPL systems—along with multiple spot sizes and filters designed to address conditions such as age spots, redness, rosacea, and uneven pigmentation.

Additional upgrades include two erbium laser options: a 2940nm Er:YAG for either ablative or coagulation modes, and a 1540nm fractional erbium laser for deeper collagen stimulation. “Integrating an Erbium:YAG 2940 nm laser with BBL represents a highly effective strategy in aesthetic dermatology, targeting a range of skin concerns such as pigmentation, texture irregularities, and overall rejuvenation,” says Niki Wu, a clinical esthetician at Rejuva Fresh, in a release.

Wu also described the 1540nm laser as a key component of the system. “The combination [with BBL] addresses both superficial and deeper skin concerns simultaneously,” she says in a release.

Targeting Range of Skin Concerns with Integrated Technologies

The company says the system’s combined platform is intended to match the performance of standalone lasers. Targeted clinical applications include skin rejuvenation, resurfacing, tightening, hair removal, acne and acne scarring, vascular and pigmented lesions, and tattoo removal.

“Using several different lights and lasers in one session is often the best way to successfully treat skin conditions because this approach targets exactly the right skin layers and pigments for better results,” says Polly Jacobs, Rejuva Fresh’s founder and CEO, in a release. “Our new Custom CORE 8D allows the practitioner to have practically almost the same power as standalone lasers in an all-in-one platform.”

The new system also incorporates workflow improvements such as customizable presets, ergonomic handpieces, and automation features aimed at reducing operator burden.

The platform is cleared by the US Food and Drug Administration.

In conjunction with the laser upgrade, Rejuva Fresh also announced a new line of organic serums designed to be used with its Hydra Spa Infusion Ultra Glow treatment, which incorporates hydrodermabrasion, oxygen therapy, radiofrequency, ultrasound, and other technologies for skin cleansing, exfoliation, hydration, and collagen stimulation.
