European Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery 2014

The British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons is delighted and honoured to host the 12th Quadrennial European Meeting of ESPRAS in 2014, when we look forward to bringing you to the gathering of our clans, as they would say in Scotland.

The Congress will give us the opportunity to welcome you to the centre of Edinburgh, to a full scientific programme with workshops, eminent guest speakers, and special sessions for nurses. We hope you will join us in sharing developments in our specialty, your specialised knowledge, and your surgical skills. We plan a full social programme so that you will be able to enjoy, with your family, all the best in tradition, sport, and entertainment that Scotland has to offer, and there will be opportunities to extend your visit to see much more of the country.

As well as offering a carefully developed scientific programme of “cutting edge” subjects to improve the care of those we care for, we want to work together with you to strengthen our specialty to face the social, medico-political, and economic challenges to plastic surgery in each of our countries, and throughout the ESPRAS community. There is great scope for us to join together and share novel ideas and organisation in our efforts to develop the highest standard of plastic surgical care throughout Europe.
