Promptly has acquired MDprospects and Patient Spectrum—including MDidentity, Referify, and Appointec—to expand its suite of practice management and patient engagement tools.
Promptly announced the acquisition of MDprospects and Patient Spectrum, including MDidentity, Referify, and Appointec, in a move to bolster its existing suite of patient experience and practice management tools. The acquisition brings additional capabilities for lead tracking, reputation management, referral coordination, and appointment scheduling under one platform.
Details of the Acquired Tools
MDprospects is a web-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and lead management platform created for medical practices. Launched in 2007, it was among the first CRMs tailored to specialty medicine. It now supports drip campaigns, text messaging, and lead conversion analytics.
The Patient Spectrum ecosystem includes:
- MDidentity: A review generation and reputation management platform.
- Referify: A referral tracking and outreach coordination tool.
- Appointec: A scheduling system designed to reduce no-shows and improve efficiency.

Strategic Integration
According to Promptly, the integration will streamline operations for practices by reducing the need to manage multiple systems, while improving patient communication and lead management. The move also supports Promptly’s development of AI-enabled tools to further automate practice workflows.
