Much like Gvasalia inflated the collectionโ€™s silhouettes, from the boxy suiting to the larger-than-life ball gowns, Grognard took a few of the modelโ€™s cheekbones to new heights and proportions.

The handiwork of Kinebanyanโ€™s virtually imperceptible prosthetic makeup, the cartoonish character detail of which was equal parts clever and menacing, spoke to the showโ€™s overarching themes of excess while riffing on our cultureโ€™s obsession with plastic surgery.
