The partnership gives members access to managed cybersecurity services designed to help protect IT, IoT, and connected medical systems from emerging threats.

The Aesthetic Society has selected Quest Technology Management, in partnership with Crytica Security, to provide managed cybersecurity services to its members. The program offers multiple options aimed at helping practices secure IT, IoT, and OT environments.

Through the collaboration, Quest will include Crytica-powered IoT and IT protection within its managed security offerings. The tools are intended to support faster detection, containment, and remediation of cyber threats, particularly in distributed or resource-constrained environments.

“Aesthetic practices are increasingly being targeted by sophisticated ransomware attacks, with threats often remaining undetected for more than 100 days—putting patient data and business operations at serious risk. Solutions like Rapid Detection and Alert™ (RDA) are helping to shift that timeline, enabling faster identification and response to threats. At The Aesthetic Society, our priority is to ensure our members have access to trusted, advanced tools that help protect their practices and the patients they serve,” says Tracy Pfeifer, MD, president of The Aesthetic Society, in a release.

Quest Technology Management and Crytica Security said the partnership is intended to address cybersecurity risks across OT, IoT, and IT environments, where traditional tools may not provide full visibility.

According to a release from The Aesthetic Society, the median breakout time for cyberattacks has decreased to about 62 minutes, with some attacks moving laterally in under a minute. The organization also cites that average breach costs exceed $4.5 million, with average dwell times of 172 days.

“Together with Crytica, we’re closing the gap, bringing never-before-seen speed to threat detection and response so our customers stay resilient and ahead of what’s next,” says Adam Burke, vice president of sales and partnerships at Quest Technology Management, in a release.

The Aesthetic Society notes that the combined offering is designed to improve detection speed and support cybersecurity across distributed IoT and OT environments.
