The E! television network has tapped into the female goals of looking pretty and getting hitched for a new reality TV show called “Bridalplasty.”
Revolving around wedding planning and plastic surgery, the show will feature brides who make a “wish list” of plastic surgery procedures they desire prior to the most important day of their lives. The winner of a wedding-themed challenge, which includes writing wedding vows or planning a honeymoon, gets to choose one procedure from her wish list as her prize. The results are then revealed at the beginning of the next show.
The grooms do not see the results until they lift the veil at the altar, right before they exchange “I do’s.”
The plastic surgeon involved here is Newport Beach, Calif-based Terry J. Dubrow, MD, FACS, who also worked on the women of “The Swan” (a reality TV show in which women underwent radical plastic surgery head-to-toe). Dubrow will operate on the ladies of “Bridalplasty.” Shanna Moakler, ex-beauty pageant queen, Carrie Prejean will host the show and guide the brides with all the wisdom gleaned from their life choices.
This series is produced by the same people who did “Rock of Love,” the Bret Michaels dating show.
