Modernizing Medicine Inc will shine the spotlight on its new plastic surgery suite, modmed Plastic Surgery, during the upcoming Plastic Surgery The Meeting in Los Angeles.
The suite includes an electronic health record system; a practice management system for scheduling, document management, billing and reporting designed to help improve practice workflow; clinical lab integrations with Quest and Labcorp; and For Meaningful Use Objective 10, plastic surgery-specific Specialized Registries for Keloid and Melanoma, according to a media release from the company.
“It has always been our mission to save physicians time and money, and with the push to pay for quality care rapidly accelerating, our mission has never been clearer. Our latest specialty-specific suite integrates products and services that address the shifting healthcare landscape,” states Michael Sherling, MD, MBA, chief medical officer and co-founder of Boca Raton, Fla-based Modernizing Medicine, in the release.
“I love the fact that all of the medical content is built into the cloud-based EHR system, so when I add a new injectable or laser procedure for our specialty, all of our users benefit from this improvement. In addition, the full suite of modmed Plastic Surgery has added clarity to our billing, streamlined our documentation and simplified our workflow,” shares Andrew Rosenthal, MD, medical director of plastic surgery at Modernizing Medicine.
Rosenthal and other representatives from Modernizing Medicine will demonstrate modmed Plastic Surgery at booth #1737 during Plastic Surgery The Meeting, September 24-26.
