A new collaboration between Galderma and Mentor Worldwide LLC hopes to elevate the patient experience through innovative aesthetic and corrective brands.
Galderma is a global leader in skin health medical solutions, and Mentor Worldwide is a world leader in breast aesthetics and reconstruction. The partners hope the collaboration will redefine “partner of choice” in the way that advances patient outcomes in aesthetic medicines.
The global partnership will offer a wider range of offerings to healthcare professionals who treat patients looking for aesthetic injectable treatments and/or breast enhancement. The collaboration supports a finding that 33% of women who receive injectable treatments also have breast augmentation. By combining medical practices, Galderma and Mentor Worldwide can provide additional value for facial rejuvenation and breast augmentation practices through technological and scientifically proven solutions, according to a media release from Galderma.
“Galderma’s facial aesthetic product portfolio includes unique, differentiated offerings that appeal to a broad group of consumers who want to look their best, with natural-looking results,” says Kelly Huang, PhD, vice president and general manager, aesthetics & corrective business unit, Galderma, US, in the release.
The collaboration includes the Restylane family of fillers, Dysport (abobotulinumtoxinA) 300 units for Injection, and Sculptra Aesthetic from Galderma, along with the US-produced MENTOR MemoryShape and MENTOR MemoryGel Breast Implants portfolio, for the US aesthetics (non-reimbursed) market.
“This is an ideal collaboration that will enable me to offer greater value and choice to my patients — many of whom are interested in both breast enhancement and facial rejuvenation — and who trust me to utilize best-in-class aesthetic treatment options like Mentor’s innovative breast implants and Galderma’s aesthetic brands,” states Christopher Saunders, MD, PA, board-certified plastic surgeon, in the release.
