Patients at the practice can now access Exomind, a neuromodulation treatment intended to support mood and cognitive wellness.

Marquez Medical Aesthetic, a health and wellness practice delivering nonsurgical aesthetic treatments, is now offering Exomind, a US Food and Drug Administration-cleared treatment by BTL designed to boost mental health and emotional wellness.

Research shows Exomind users report improved emotional behavior, resilience, and cognitive functioning, and may experience a reduction in addictive behaviors related to binge eating, and nicotine or alcohol use, according to a release from Marquez Medical Aesthetic.

“More than one in five adults in the US struggle with mental illness,” says Julian Marquez, MD, a family medicine physician and owner of Marquez Medical Aesthetic, in a release. “Our mission is to help people feel their best inside and out. Exomind has been transformative for our patients, offering real relief and empowering them to get back to creating their healthiest, most fulfilling lives.”

Exomind utilizes a patented ExoTMS technology that stimulates the brain’s frontal cortex, the area responsible for emotions and cognitive function. By activating critical neural pathways, Exomind is designed to help restore healthy brain activity and enhance neural connectivity, supporting improved mental wellness.

BTL announced the launch of Exomind in January 2025,

“Exomind’s technology demonstrates our commitment to wellness by delivering natural, innovative solutions that empower individuals to reach their full potential,” says Filip Donner, company director, in a release. “This patient-friendly therapy aligns with our vision of promoting holistic health. Unlike conventional treatments, it provides a natural approach to mental wellness, fostering brain resilience without the side effects often associated with pharmaceuticals.”

BTL’s product portfolio includes Emsculp Neo, Emface, Exion, Emsella, and others.
