The initiative features a new report with data on consumer satisfaction and trends, aiming to correct misinformation for patients and providers.

Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company, has launched the “Naturally You with Injectable Hyaluronic Acid Fillers” campaign, an initiative designed to provide education about HA injectable fillers. The campaign focuses on correcting misinformation and elevating understanding of the aesthetic treatments.

“Our goal with ‘Naturally You with Injectable Hyaluronic Acid Fillers’ campaign is to set the record straight on hyaluronic acid injectable fillers for our healthcare providers, our patients, and the category,” says Glen Curran, senior vice president, US Aesthetics, Allergan Aesthetics, in a release. “By providing facts, real-world satisfaction data, and expert insights, we hope to truly show how HA fillers are a safe and effective way to address aesthetic concerns.”

New Report Details Industry Trends

At the center of the campaign is a new report, which details current use and opinions regarding the products. According to the report, nearly 90% of consumers are satisfied with their results, citing natural-looking outcomes as the top reason. The data also shows that over two-thirds of consumers use social media and online videos to learn about HA fillers, and more than 75% believe their use will increase in the future.

The report is the first in the company’s planned “Aesthetics Evolution Report Series.” Its findings are based on analysis of media, social trends, and proprietary US data from Allergan Aesthetics, with insights validated through interviews with four aesthetics experts from key US markets.

As part of the campaign, Allergan Aesthetics will partner with healthcare providers and consumer influencers to support education on the category.
