Two physicians discuss how integrated patient financing and loyalty programs are transforming access, affordability, and retention in aesthetic practices.

As elective aesthetic procedures continue to grow in popularity, practices are rethinking how they handle patient affordability and loyalty. Financing and rewards programs, once treated as add-ons, are now being integrated directly into practice management systemsโ€”streamlining checkout, reducing administrative friction, and helping more patients move forward with treatment. The recent collaboration between Aesthetic Record, PatientFi, and ASPIRE Galderma Rewards represents a pivotal shift toward unified, patient-centered payment experiences. For aesthetic practices, this integration offers not only new efficiency but also a way to strengthen patient relationships and retention.

In this interview, Kuwait Jaroje, MD, a private practice physician specializing in office-based cosmetic procedures and owner of Sculpting MD in Southborough, Mass, and Sanjay Grover, MD, FACS, a board-certified plastic surgeon and owner of Grover Aesthetics in Newport Beach, Calif, share how patient financing and loyalty rewards are shaping accessibility, efficiency, and long-term loyalty in modern aesthetic care.

Plastic Surgery Practice: Loyalty programs such as ASPIRE Galderma Rewards are now integrated directly into your checkout process. How has this changed patient engagement and retention in your practice?

Kuwait Jaroje, MD: Financing is often the deciding factor for patients. PatientFi makes the process approachable with soft credit checks, transparent terms, and higher approval rates than traditional lenders. For our patients, that trust and ease of access is what helps them move forward with treatment. For our practice, the Galderma partnership is a real differentiatorโ€”0% processing fees on products such as Dysport, Sculptra, and Restylane make it one of the most cost-effective ways to offer financing.

PSP: Cost is often cited as a barrier in aesthetics. How does offering point-of-care financing and rewards together help reduce that barrier for your patients?

Sanjay Grover, MD, FACS: While 80-85% of patients in my practice prefer to pay in full upfront, many live on a set monthly budget. Financing options, such as PatientFi, make procedures more approachable and often can be the deciding factor for some.

PSP: What impact have you seen on your practice operationsโ€”workflow, staff efficiency, or administrative burdenโ€”since adopting a platform that unifies patient financing and rewards within your practice management system?

Jaroje: Integrating financing and rewards into one platform will simplify our workflow at the practice level. With the new Aesthetic Record and PatientFi integration, instead of staff juggling multiple systems or explaining complex terms, everything is in one place. That saves time at checkout, reduces administrative burden and creates a smoother patient experience from consult to treatment.

PSP: Do you view patient financing and loyalty rewards primarily as tools for accessibility, or do they also play a role in long-term relationship building and patient loyalty?

Jaroje: From a practice standpoint, these programs do more than help patients say yes โ€” they help them stay. Financing options and loyalty rewards build a sense of partnership between the patient and the provider, reinforcing the idea that aesthetics is a journey, not a one-time decision.

PSP: Looking ahead, what role do you think integrated financing and rewards platforms will play in the growth and sustainability of private aesthetic and plastic surgery practices?

Grover: As a physician, my focus is always on the level of care, technique and quality of results. Financing and rewards programs like PatientFi can complement that by making these procedures more accessible and helping patients move forward with what feels right for them. OP
