Plastic surgeons, such as Dr. Terry Dubrow from “Botched,” have received inquiries from patients who want to become those images in real life, according to TMZ. He fears the trend sets seriously unrealistic expectations and cautions that the surgery is neither possible nor recommended.

Dubrow said he has been approached by two people interested in becoming their Lensa AI portrait through plastic surgery, according to TMZ. He initially thought the requests were pranks, but ended up turning down the patients when he realized they were serious, the outlet reported.

Dr. Deepak Dugar and Dr. Ben Talei, who has performed plastic surgery on Shanna Moakeler, both agreed with Dubrow, according to the report. Dugar has reported the same feedback from obsessed fans, and said he has fielded five Lensa related plastic surgery requests in one week alone, TMZ reported.
