Cutera has launched Global Laser Aesthetics Month this October to spotlight laser technology, skin diversity, and provider and patient education.

Cutera Inc announced the launch of Global Laser Aesthetics Month (G.L.A.M.), an initiative beginning this October that focuses on recognizing the aesthetics community and promoting education around laser technology and skin diversity.

Month-Long Campaign to Promote Education and Innovation

G.L.A.M. will run throughout October and is intended to highlight how laser treatments are impacting skincare across different skin types and tones. “Global Laser Aesthetics Month is both a celebration and an educational movement,” said Taylor Harris, CEO of Cutera Inc. “Cutera has pioneered first-to-market aesthetic and dermatologic devices for over two decades, always with innovation at the center. G.L.A.M. honors the professionals, patients, and technologies that continue to elevate the standards of aesthetic care.”

Laser Genesis Selected as 2025 Hero Treatment

The campaign will feature Laser Genesis as the primary treatment for this year’s initiative. The treatment uses a 1064 nm wavelength to deliver micro-pulses of energy that help stimulate collagen production and improve skin texture, according to the company. It is indicated for a range of aesthetic concerns including redness, rosacea, fine lines, scars, uneven tone, and texture. The treatment is non-invasive, typically takes 15 minutes, and requires no downtime. Laser Genesis is available on the xeo+, excel V+, and excel HR platforms.

“Laser Genesis has become a universal treatment because it works beautifully across all skin tones and multiple concerns,” said Dr Mira Kaga, founder of The Kaga Institute of Medicine and Aesthetics. “With G.L.A.M., Cutera is not only showcasing the importance of innovation and skin inclusivity but also redefining how aesthetics connects with people. By bringing together groundbreaking technology and a more inclusive approach to education, G.L.A.M. is setting a new standard for how the industry informs, inspires, and engages patients.”

Educational Programming and Global Events Scheduled

In addition to treatment awareness, Cutera’s G.L.A.M. campaign will feature global webinars, training sessions, media partnerships, and educational resources throughout October. These events will involve collaboration with medical experts in dermatology and aesthetics.
