TruInject Medical Corporation has received a patent for its cosmetic and therapeutic injector training system from the US Patent Office.
The TruInject training system will be tested among select doctors over the next several months, and is expected to be available by early 2015.
The system provides immediate and accurate results about the injection, including how fast and how much is being injected. The trainee can experiment with adjustments to the procedure in real time. What’s more, the system includes computer visuals that allow the trainee to “peel back” head layers to better understand the procedure in relation to the needle, skin, muscle, nerves, and bone layers.
