New sizes for the Mia and Preserve systems expand the company’s minimally invasive breast offerings. The company also presented new clinical data on breast tissue preservation to more than 1,000 plastic surgeons.
Establishment Labs Holdings Inc presented new clinical and scientific data supporting breast tissue preservation and its Minimally Invasive Platform, while also announcing line extensions for both Mia and Preserve.
The announcements took place in Istanbul, Turkey, during the 11th World Symposium on Ergonomic Implants, an event that drew more than 1,000 plastic surgeons from 57 countries and featured 127 scientific presentations and educational sessions focused on breast aesthetics, reconstruction, and tissue preservation techniques.
Multicenter Findings and ASJ Supplement
Among the data shared at the symposium were findings from the recently published Breast Tissue Preservation Building Blocks Supplement in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, according to Establishment Labs. The four-part, peer-reviewed publication includes contributions from more than 25 authors globally, including board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeons, anatomists, pathologists, and academic researchers.
Lead authors presented research covering breast anatomy, the foundations of tissue preservation, the scientific rationale for the techniques, and early- and mid-term clinical data on the Minimally Invasive Platform. The symposium sessions also featured a review of the first published US multicenter clinical experience with Preserve, the company states.
Establishment Labs notes that the research aims to establish an anatomical and scientific foundation to supply plastic surgeons with a standardized framework designed to preserve breast anatomy while minimizing tissue disruption.

Product Line Extensions and Market Growth
In addition to the clinical data, Establishment Labs announced product line extensions featuring new sizes and supporting tools for both the Mia and Preserve systems.
The company indicated that the additions are intended to expand candidate eligibility for minimally invasive breast procedures as market demand rises.
