You are about to scrub in for an abdominoplasty and want to make sure you are up-to-date on the latest in venous thromboembolism prophylaxis?

Where would you turn?

Meet RADAR Resource, the cosmetic world’s first portable reference library.  Click on the complications tool kit, and RADAR Resource, which is short for Readily Available Digital Aesthetic Resource, puts this information and more at your fingertips.  “Doctors want to access all their information in one spot,” says Barry Fernando, MD, founder and CEO of Anzu. “At the end of the day, we developed a product I would like to use.”

RADAR Resource powered by AnzuMedical,  is home to all of the Aesthetic Surgery Journal issues dating back to 1995. What’s more, this electronic file cabinet also comprises a vast array of information on all aesthetic surgeries including watershed publications, video content and procedural statistics. It also houses information from all major industry meetings, and a complication tool kit. “Radar Resource powered by ANZUMedical is everything you need at your fingertips,” he says.

RADAR Resource is also interactive. Users can highlight, comment on and reorganize all of the information into their own personal binders. “You are now in control of a multi-media library,” he says.

And so far, RADAR Resource is on everyone’s radar at the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) meeting in Vancouver. The RADAR booth is the most crowded at the exhibition hall, as members line up to download and trial the new app.

Texas plastic surgeon William P. Adams, Jr. MD, is sold. “”It is like having a whole library in your back pocket.”

RADAR Resource is FREE to all ASAPS members. All you need is an IPAD 2 or newer model. Visit the iTunes App store or www.anzupower.com, download the free app anzumedical, register. Select the plastic surgery domain library and log in with ASAPS credentials.
