Alan Matarasso, MD, plastic surgeon at Lenox Hill Hospital, has been appointed president-elect of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) at the organization’s 86th annual scientific conference in Orlando, FL.
A dedicated ASPS member for over thirty years, Dr. Matarasso previously served the organization as the vice president of aesthetic surgery and private practice. He was appointed as the 2015 ASPS traveling professor and currently holds the position of associate editor for the organization’s premier journal, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
