Mentor Worldwide LLC announces that the US Food and Drug Administration has approved its MemoryGel Xtra silicone gel-filled breast implants for marketing in the United States.
These implants offer extra fullness and projection for women undergoing breast reconstruction, augmentation, or revision surgery, according to Mentor in a media release.
In the same release from the Irvine, Calif-based company, Mentor also announces the launch of the Mentor Artoura Breast Tissue Expander, which features Dynamic Control Technology designed to provide a precise, controlled expansion.
The Artoura Expander is available in two projections and achieves a full profile at a range of fill volumes, which enables a match with corresponding MemoryShape and MemoryGel Breast Implant options.
