The producers of HotdocsTV will roll out their new 13-week series on elective procedures, plastic surgery, and beauty information at the Metroplex in Dallas on May 27th. The series emphasizes education, not drama or personalities.

“So many people are interested in improving their appearance. . .in managing how they age. . .going beyond working out,” says Matt Williams, executive producer of Hacienda Nocturna Productions. “We want these people—and, believe me, it’s not just women anymore—to have the information necessary to make smart decisions about having work done.”

The series is slated for its next production in Houston—followed by Los Angeles and Miami in 2008.

HotdocsTV airs Sunday mornings on NBC/KXAS from 11:00 to 11:30 AM.
